Founder Matthew McCabe’s food journey

Matts’ work has enabled close working relationships with government food agencies across the world. His food journey took him to The Dorchester in London, Käfer Lenbach in Munich, Hotel Schweizerhof in St. Moritz, Switzerland, and a period working in Ireland where his kitchen was awarded an Egon Ronay Award.

Later commercial roles within Government included The Houses of Lords, various roles across central government and a role as Sourcing Manager of Food and Beverages within the world’s largest catering facility at Emirates Flight Catering, Dubai. ​

Matt lives in London with his wife and has three children. When he is not working on SUBU Connect, you are likely to find him in the kitchen cooking, which remains a great passion.
